Albras announces “Casa Albras at Círio 2025” as part of its 40th Anniversary celebrations
10 de October de 2025

The event will feature the “Boat of Wishes,” an interactive installation inspired by the transport used by employees of the operation.
In 2025, Albras celebrates its 40th anniversary, marking four decades of connection with Barcarena and the entire state of Pará. To commemorate this milestone and the grandeur of the Círio de Nazaré, the company presents the “Casa Albras at Círio 2025.” Located on Avenida Nazaré, at the traditional Casa Balaio, this space will serve as a gathering point focused on tribute, local culture, and social commitment—sharing this moment of celebration with the company’s employees.
The “Boat of Wishes,” an interactive installation created especially for the occasion, is a central element of the Casa Albras. Its inspiration comes from the “Carros dos Milagres” (Miracle Carts) of the Círio and from the daily boat crossing made by Albras employees between Belém and Barcarena. Guests will be able to tie small ribbons, each representing a wish. This action transforms the decorative canoe into a symbol of hope, reinforcing the idea of a shared journey.
“Our 40 years represent our connection with Pará and with our team,” says Luiz Roberto Silva Junior, CEO of Albras. “The Casa Albras and the ‘Boat of Wishes’ reflect this journey. The Boat of Wishes is an affectionate reference to the daily boat commute that is part of many of our employees’ routines, as well as a tribute to tradition. Each wish placed aboard symbolizes hope for the future. It’s an invitation to join this journey of faith and unity, reaffirming our commitment to our people and to Amazonian traditions.”
The Casa Albras setting incorporates elements of Amazonian culture, featuring miriti (lightwood art) and references to boats and the Círio’s rope. The building façade will be illuminated in Albras blue, and an “Instagrammable Space” will ensure participants can capture memorable moments during the event.
In addition, the Albras volunteer team will support pilgrims passing by the Casa. They will distribute biodegradable paper candle protectors on the night of the Transladação (Círio eve procession) and seed-paper fans on the morning of the Círio. The team will also provide ID bracelets for children to assist parents in case of separation during the procession. Fine mist coolers will be available along the street to ensure comfort.
The Casa Albras program includes performances by a guest singer, institutional messages from company leaders, and a variety of local food offerings. A dedicated “Curumim Space” will entertain children with games and snacks. The “Casa Albras at Círio 2025” goes beyond a simple event—it stands as a celebration of history, community, and the vision of a promising future for all.
