Our Certifications
ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety):
Attests that Albras’ OHS management systems support appropriate preventive actions and can correctly manage OHS risks and opportunities. This international standard certifies that Albras is committed to providing its employees with a safe and healthy working environment.
ISO 14001 (Environment)
Attests that Albras’ environmental management systems are structured to protect the environment and able to respond quickly to changing environmental conditions. The seal also demonstrates that the company is aligned with good sustainable practices guided by its clients, external organizations and regulatory bodies.
ISO 9001 (Quality)
Certifies that Albras’ management systems perform with excellence and have the capacity to optimize resources, ensure agility in production and steer product development in ways that ensure customer satisfaction and achieve success.
Zero Waste to Landfill
Albras has also been granted an international certification attesting that its products are manufactured in a facility with zero waste sent to landfills. The certification, first granted by the Zero Waste to Landfill Program in March 2023 and renewed in 2024, makes the company a benchmark in solid waste management in the state of Pará and for other companies in the industry.
ASI: Quality, sustainability and governance
Albras has also been recertified by the Alumunium Stewardship Initiative (ASI) in the Performance and Chain of Custody standards, including for compliance with the newest certification criteria. Having ASI certification confirms that Albras’ aluminum meets the highest quality standards and that it is produced in a responsible and sustainable manner.
GHG Protocol: Environment
We have also been certified seven times with the Gold Seal of the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, a tool used to quantify and manage greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the country. The seal certifies that the company meets international standards on the environmental management of its operations.

Together with Hydro, Albras has developed Canal Direto (“Direct Line”), our platform for unmediated communication with society.
