Achievement is the result of positive assessment by employees in voluntary surveys that recognizes companies with great work environments

Albras, the largest primary aluminum producer in Brazil, has just been recognized as one of the five best companies to work for in the northern region of the country, according to the ranking published by global consultancy Great Place to Work (GPTW) – one of the most internationally renowned institutions for the certification of companies that invest in building a positive and engaging work environment.

The announcement, which ranked Albras fourth among the five best companies in the northern region, was made on November 28 during an event in Manaus (state of Amazonas) that brought together representatives of several companies from other states that also competed in the same category. The certification is the result of the company being positively evaluated by its employees, who voluntarily participated in the survey carried out in May this year.

“Now at almost four decades of operation, Albras reinforces its commitment to the best practices of people management, always seeking to create a work environment of excellence and trust. This recognition will serve as a basis for further improving our internal policies and practices, always focusing on the continuous improvement of our organizational climate. The safety and well-being of our employees are priorities for our company,” said Luiz Roberto Silva Junior, CEO of Albras.

The result of a joint venture between Hydro and NAAC (Nippon Amazon Aluminium Co. Ltd.), Albras has 3,300 direct and indirect employees and a long tradition of prominence in previous organizational climate surveys in the industrial segment.
