Albras ranked among the greatest companies to work for

30 de October de 2024

Albras, the joint venture between Hydro and NAAC (Nippon Amazon Aluminium Co. Ltd.), has achieved certification by international consultancy GPTW (Great Place to Work), which recognizes the best companies to work for in Brazil. The seal is awarded based on a survey carried out with employees and evaluates several factors of the organizational climate, such as confidence in the company’s leadership, pride, innovation and work environment.

It was the first time Albras was featured in the survey. Brazil’s largest primary aluminum producer stood out amongst respondents for the benefits it offers to its people, behavior at the top, employee pride and good interpersonal relations. This was the first time the company participated in the GPTW survey with its own brand. In previous editions, the company participated as one of Hydro’s business units.

“With great pride, Albras has earned certification in its first year as an individual participant in the GPTW survey. For us, this is the recognition of all the work we’ve developed with a focus on our employees. The survey will also serve as a basis for further improving the policies we have put in place in order to offer a welcoming and reliable work environment,” explains Luiz Roberto Silva Junior, CEO of Albras.

In order for the company to be assessed for certification, employees were asked to voluntarily respond to a survey conducted between May 6 and 24. Although this is Albras’ first GPTW certification, the company has long held its own organizational climate surveys to gauge how we’re doing internally. In fact, we’ve been featured for 17 years in the satisfaction survey rankings of Brazil’s two major national business publications (Exame and Você S.A.).
