My job is to disseminate knowledge and train people so that we can continue to have a company that makes high-quality products.”

What is it like to work at Albras?

For almost 40 years, Albras has been an environment of excellence where several generations of professionals have honed their talents and achieved professional growth. As part of our team, you get the chance to receive and share knowledge while working alongside highly skilled professionals in our administrative and operational areas.

Albras’ aluminum is produced by a number of different areas, all working together to deliver a low-footprint product ready to be transformed for the most varied applications. Here, collaboration is paramount to all the work we do.

As Brazil’s largest primary aluminum producer, Albras strives to offer a workplace that inspires workers, and these efforts have paid off: the company has been certified by GPTW (Great Place To Work), an international organization that recognizes the best companies to work for throughout the world. The certification came on the company’s very first year as part of the survey. Among the main benefits mentioned by our employees were the benefits we offer, behavior at the top, employee pride and good interpersonal relations. Although this is Albras’ first GPTW certification, the company has long held its own organizational climate surveys to gauge how we’re doing internally. In fact, we’ve been featured for 17 years in the satisfaction survey rankings of Brazil’s two major national business publications (Exame and Você S.A.).

Diversity and Inclusion

Albras has been transforming itself for the entirety of its almost 40 years of history. Over the last few years, changes in society have reshaped our view of the world and the way we manage our people and businesses. In a changing world that is increasingly considerate of diversity, Albras has sought to embody the ethos that respect for differences is crucial to building a more equal, inclusive, diverse and harmonious work environment.

The company has created a Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging Program grounded on five core pillars of focus: gender, persons with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, race/ethnicity and generational. We believe that the path towards a future free of prejudice is grounded on Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging.
