4 de December de 2024

With the presence of local leaders and representatives, the company celebrates results and reinforces its commitment to the local development of Barcarena.

With the aim of strengthening dialogue with community leaders in Barcarena and presenting the results of the initiatives carried out in 2024, Albras held the third edition of the “Albras and Communities Panel” at the Cabana Clube, in the city center. The event brought together around 120 people, including community leaders, company representatives and members of social projects. Topics such as income generation, education and local development were discussed, always with a focus on building a transparent and collaborative relationship.

“This is a very important day for us. It is the moment when we open our doors to the communities, share our actions and, most importantly, listen to their demands and expectations”, said Luiz Roberto Silva Junior, CEO of Albras. “We want to build a sustainable future for Barcarena together, and this is only possible through dialogue and partnership.”

The panel featured presentations of several projects supported by Albras, such as Tipitix, which promotes entrepreneurship in family farming, and Estilo Barcarena, which trains seamstresses for the job market, both funded by the Hydro Sustainability Fund, a non-profit organization that actively works to develop the territories where the company operates.

For Milene Maués, Partnerships Manager at the Hydro Sustainability Fund, the event is essential for reporting to the community and celebrating the results achieved together. “It is a moment to recognize everyone’s commitment and reinforce the importance of the partnership between Albras, the Fund and the communities,” she highlighted.

In addition to the presentations, the event provided a space for participants to exchange experiences and ideas. Community leaders were able to express their needs and expectations, contributing to the improvement of Albras’ actions in the region. The company reinforced its commitment to continue investing in projects that promote the sustainable development of Barcarena.

Ângela Maria Santiago, president of the Vila Nova community, highlighted the importance of the English course offered by the project in her community. “The course has transformed the lives of our children, opening up new perspectives for the future. The partnership with Albras has been fundamental for the development of our community,” she said.

The Albras and Communities Panel demonstrates the company’s commitment to transparency and community dialogue in the Barcarena region. For Luiz Roberto, the event is essential for mutual recognition between the company and the community. “The Albras and Communities Panel is a way of showing that we are present not only in Albras’ operations, but in their day-to-day activities and together with them, being part of the community.” Luiz Roberto Silva Junior, CEO of Albras, concludes.
